Sneak Peek in my Art book...
Hello everyone! I am coming to the end of my first GCSE year and I have to build my coursework to show my thought process that will lead to my final piece in art. We were given the topic: growth and decay in the style of Valerie Hegarty. For our final piece we have to choose another artist that we like, try and do a similar sort of painting/drawing/sculpture/collage etc... Once we have completed that we have to basically destroy it in a creative way, in the style of Valerie Hegarty.
I finally found this amazing young Italian women, Silvia Pelissero, better known as agnes-cecile. She is wonderful and I just cannot get enough of her art, it is just simply astonishing work and I aspire to be at her level of quality and detail one day. I attempted to try some of her style art with water colours. Here is my first and very very quick unfinished attempt as a starting point. Hopefully with more practice I will be able to make it better. I will keep you updated with my journey. Have a go just for fun, I would love to see your creations!
